Murray FEISS -import LLC, a Generation - Brands Company is excited to announce two important promotions, which take effect January 1, 2008. Greg Vandia has been named President of Murray Feiss Lighting and Harold Wolfson named President of Royce Lighting. Both of these fine individuals have long proven track records with their respective divisions.
Harold began his association with the company as a customer of Royce in the late 1980's when he was the Lighting Buyer at a regional home center. He came on board as Vice President of Marketing in 1991 and, since that time, has been instrumental in developing Royce Lighting into one of the preeminent lighting companies serving the home improvement and mass market channels. Harold's efforts have included extensive international travel to develop Royce's world class supply base.
Greg also started his relationship with Murray Feiss Lighting as a customer, as the Lighting Buyer at Rike's Department Store in Ohio in the late 1970's. Later, Greg worked as an independent sales representative for the company in the Midwest and was the key individual in the Feiss sales organization in the forming of the Murray Feiss Sales Rep Advisory Committee. He was appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales B Marketing in 1990. Over the last 17 years, Greg has worked with great effectiveness and dedication in virtually all segments of the business, notably in the area of product development and sales management.
Both Greg and Harold have demonstrated their leadership skills over The many years of service they have provided the company, and they are extremely well prepared lo be successful in their new positions. They have the full confidence and support of the entire Murray Feiss and Royce teams as well as of Generation Brands management. Commenting on Greg's and Harold's appointments, Generation Brands President B CEO, T. Tracy Bilbrough said, "Having worked closely with Greg and Harold over the past two years, I share Murray's confidence in the business acumen and management skills of these two fine executives. With Greg and Harold assuming their new roles, Robert Greene and Ron Hersh will-be-able to devote more time to implementing new ideas to increase sales through excellence in service, design and the management of products for both Murray Feiss and Royce. They will also similarly assist the other business units of Generation Brands. Murray will continue in his role as Chairman of the Board of Generation Brands.
